1. Who we are and how to contact us
ADEHYE Royal Chauffeur is operated by RITHUM SYSTEMS GHANA LTD, 30 Queens Street, Regimanuel Estate, Lashibi, Tema, Ghana (digital address GT-025-3155). We are the controller of your personal data. To contact us about your data, email support@rithumsystems.com or call +233 50 500 0100.
2. Information we collect
We collect the information you give us when you book or create an account: your name, phone number, email, pickup and destination addresses, flight number where relevant, and passenger details. We also collect payment information, which is processed by our payment provider Paystack and is not stored in full by us. When you use the service we also record trip details such as times, distances and the chauffeur assigned.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to process and confirm bookings, arrange and deliver your chauffeur service, communicate with you about your trips, send receipts, handle cancellations and refunds, prevent fraud, and improve our service. With your consent, we may send promotional messages; you can opt out at any time.
4. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of the contract to provide your booking, our legitimate interests in operating the business safely and securely, and any consent you give for optional communications. The processing of your personal data is governed by the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana. RITHUM SYSTEMS GHANA LTD is registered, or is in the process of registering, as a data controller with the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
5. Sharing your information
We share the details needed to deliver your booking with the assigned chauffeur, who receives the passenger's name and contact number for the purpose of the trip. The passenger's contact number is masked until the chauffeur is en route to the pickup. We share payment data with Paystack (our payment provider), send booking messages through Arkesel (our SMS provider), and use Google Maps Platform for address lookup and routing. The application is hosted and operated on the Base44 platform, which acts as our application hosting provider. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety or property of our customers or others.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers (Paystack, Google Maps Platform, and our application hosting provider) may process data outside Ghana. We rely on their safeguards and the lawful transfer mechanisms they have in place.
7. Data retention
We keep booking and payment records for the period required by Ghanaian tax and company law. Pickup and drop-off location data is anonymised after 24 months by our scheduled retention process, after which it can no longer be linked to you. You can ask us to delete your account data, subject to records we are required to keep.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission of Ghana. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will respond within a reasonable period.
10. Children
Our service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. A booking may be made for a minor travelling with an adult who consents to the booking.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
